As I walked up the sidewalk to my building to start work this morning the power went off. I wanted to take it as a sign that I should just go back home, but I persevered and went to work anyway. Power stayed off for almost an hour. It was very bright when the lights all popped back on!
Heidi and company returned home safely. I was happy to have them and wouldn't mind a bit if they came right back, but just for fun this time and not for a medical reason. We could skip Chuck E Cheese, though. Been there, did that.
I cannot locate the cord to take the pictures off my camera and put them on my computer. So I have a ton of pictures to share with no way of sharing them. Things like that make me a little more crazy than usual.
I need to make a doctors appointment and get my ankle checked out. It still has a lot of pain from the surgery that was a year ago. I need to know if there's anything else that can be done or if I just need to learn different ways to live with it. I also want to go back to Curves and I need a green light before I start working out on gimpy ankle.
In sporting news, the University of Utah football team is the only team in the United States that is undefeated. But they won't end the season as the champion. The BCS system needs an overhaul, IMHO. Because my Utes should be #1.
Go Utah! Sorry to hear about your bum ankle. I broke mine in March last year and it's still not 100%. I had therapy and then have worked hard at the gym to rebuild it. It's doing much better but everyone tells me it takes a couple of years to really be back to normal.
